Well, it’s been a while since we posted anything… curse of the blog when other things interfere.
Anyway, had a great 4 day / 3 night spree on Redfish a few weeks ago.
Spent all three nights on the boat, got some good sailing in, some sound sleep at our own private beach, and good eats with a little portable grill. Turnstone stores gear like a champion, and we were both very comfortable. And we only dragged anchor once, and then only a little bit (or is dragging anchor “a little bit” like being “a little bit” pregnant?)
Video with some tunes from the weekend (5 mins 38 seconds):
Looks great. That must have been some wind to need a reef. I suppose lake sailing is different.
Two reefs in fact… lake sailing winds are anything but consistent, so prudence dictates reefing based on what we think might happen, not actual wind speeds ;-)
Life is good.
