Had a great, light air day on Redfish last weekend.
Most of our days have been fairly solid wind days so it was nice to just glide along – tacks were few and far between because we weren’t moving very quickly – and of course the views were killer as always.
Forgot to use the genoa instead of the working jib, but nobody’s perfect ;-)
Even got to read for a while in the cockpit while Brig and Hannah napped… just kept the light breeze on the appropriate shoulder while I read, and since everyone’s decided it’s winter (it was 85 at the time) there was basically no one else on the lake so not too worried about traffic.
On a quick beach pit stop for the dog snapped a few profile shots of Turnstone with the sails up, first pics I’ve gotten with the sails up (click any of the images for larger versions):

Nice ride! I like that ladder.
Wow, what a beautiful boat!!! I love the colors – the red sails and the teal hull. And a beautiful photograph!
She looks great! Forgot to use the genoa…?
Err, never crossed my mind??? I move that sail around all the time down below, but I sort of forgot I had it that day… besides, I learned to sail on a cat ketch ;-)
