The jib sheet cleats Turnstone came with were a temporary affair at best… the previous owner had the old jam cleats fail in the middle of a trip, and these were all he could come up with:
… they’re pretty unimpressive, though, so I reinstalled what used to be on there… ClamCleats… and bedded them using (gasp) silicone because I was afraid polyurethane would never come apart again and I didn’t have any polysulfide… plus not sure if those two would have eaten the plastic of the cleat. I now learn the ClamCleats are made of nylon so I could have used polysulfide, and might rebed them again this fall, but I think this will work for now:
