T-Shirts

O.K., sorry for the long delay, but here are the directions and links to graphics to create a Nimble 20 t-shirt, complete with tag line “A Vote Against Boredom and Mediocrity”. The graphics are tan bark red for the line drawing of the Nimble 20 and for the tag line.

Disclaimer: I’ve had a few weird things go on with CafePress, and my designs don’t always seem to save the changes I make on the back of the shirt… I did an order though and it worked, so who knows.

1) Go to CafePress.com… I’ve been using Google Chrome as my browser because other browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox) have been giving me trouble with CafePress’s creation tool.

2) Under “Create & Buy” click “Create a New Custom Product” (you might want to create an account first so you can save your design)

3) Click “Design a Shirt”

4) Find and click on “Long-sleeve”

5) Choose a Men’s or Women’s Long Sleeve… I’ve only done Men’s so far

6) Pick a color, I went “Ash Grey” instead of white (your only two color choices), goes nicely with the tan bark graphics

7) Upload each of these images to CafePress: front_tan_bark.png and    back_tan_bark.png

8) Drag the boat outline onto the front of the shirt, then click the “Move Design To Pocket” link in the upper left corner to make it positioned over the pocket (these are not pocketed shirts, FWIW)… position it so it’s centered side to side, I made mine a little smaller than maximum possible size:

9) Click “View Back”

10) Drag the text onto the back of the shirt. I sized it not quite full fitting their bounding box, and moved it up toward the top, and centered it:

11) You can click Preview to see what your design will look like… here’s how mine appeared in the preview window:

12) Save your changes and you have a t-shirt you can then order one or more of. They’re about $27 each.
